I'm not quite sure exactly how or what you are seeing that gives you those Testudinate thoughts. Sometimes I copy an image and then use a program to illustrate what I think I'm seeing: a carapace, a face (sometimes with a beak), or whatever it is that "resembles a turtle." LOL! I knew it was just me! It's that little notch that both rocks have, slightly to the left of center, that looks like an eye. So, all I'm seeing is a head poking out of the ground. I think I'm suffering from pareidolia! You're right, there is no cure for Turtle Vision!!
I had to look up "pareidolia;" - and I thought you might be talking about a face. I think of these as "emerging turtles" - like a large snapping turtle I once saw coming out of the ground after hibernation.
